Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has announced the arrival of another cargo vessel at Gwadar Port, underscoring the port’s increasing strategic and commercial importance.
According to the minister, the vessel, MV Riva Glory, reached Gwadar carrying 14,629 metric tons of cargo. The latest arrival reflects a steady rise in trade activity at the port, which has long been viewed as a key component of Pakistan’s maritime and economic development plans.
Chaudhry stated that commercial operations at Gwadar Port are gaining momentum, with growing interest from international shipping companies. He noted that confidence among global maritime stakeholders is gradually improving, which is a positive sign for the port’s long-term prospects.
